I’m a Product Engineer at WAJ, building and scaling high-performance applications for thousands of businesses across the MENA region.

My engineering approach was built through a period of intense discipline. While studying for my medical degree at the University of Jordan, I concurrently immersed myself in software engineering; balancing rigorous technical theory with the hands-on experience of shipping production code.

Previously, as an Independent Developer, I owned the full lifecycle of commercial products, from architecture and design through to production and deployment.

    • Full-Lifecycle Ownership: Leading the design and implementation of business-critical features across a multi-tenant ecosystem, serving thousands of e-commerce businesses in the MENA region.
    • Architectural Modernization: Spearheading major refactors of legacy systems to improve modularity, reducing service coupling and establishing scalable patterns for future-proof engineering.
    • Cross-Platform Orchestration: Engineering consistent state and logic across a diverse tech stack, including Next.js whitelabel platforms, Flutter mobile applications, and centralized cloud backends.
    • System Hardening & Governance: Improving platform resilience through rigorous security-first backend design, technical documentation, and standardized deployment workflows across multiple repositories.

  2. Independent Software Engineer

    Delivered multiple full-stack commercial platforms, managing the transition from architectural design to profitable production environments:

    • Strasza.com: Architected a real-time digital asset escrow platform featuring a custom WebSocket-based Discord interface and a transactional ledger.
    • Rufus USMLE: Launched a profitable commercial SaaS question-bank for medical students, managing the full stack from schema design to deployment.
    • Studyland: Developed an open-source platform as an architectural showcase for modular system design and complex state management.

    • Technical Leadership (OSIG): Deployed a member directory web app and automated G-Suite pipelines for the Oncology Student Interest Group.
